The Arctos Story

“Arctos” is part of the Latin species name of the California Grizzly Bear that appears on the state flag. Inspired by the dignified strength of the Grizzly, owner Kaycie Edwards and her team are committed to offering the best possible service in the erosion control industry.

As a land use planner and certified erosion control specialist, Kaycie brings a wealth of experience to her business. She is also an advocate for bringing more women into the construction industry.

Our focus is on hydroseeding and erosion control

Providing Innovative and Sustainable Solutions

Kaycie previously served as the co-owner and president of Emerald Site Services, Inc., a premier stormwater consulting and construction firm in Northern California. During that time, Emerald grew into a thriving business, and Edwards recognized a need to launch a new business completely focused on hydroseeding and erosion control.

Kaycie earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Regional and Community Development from the University of California, Davis. She is a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Stormwater Inspector (CESSWI 2326) and a Qualified Stormwater Practitioner (QSP 21773). Kaycie also holds General A and C27 (Landscape) California Contractors Licenses.
